“Noi siamo qui”, at the Rome Film Fest a collective account of the tragedy of the earthquake

On Saturday November 4^th at 5:30 pm, the AuditoriumArte, animated by the Roma Lazio Film Commission, will be the venue for the presentation of the medium-length feature film Noi siamo qui, made by Cinemovel Campus with the students of the town of Norcia (who will be guests of the Rome Film Fest on November 3^rd and 4^th), to talk about how the earthquake that hit central Italy and changed perceptions, reshaped space, and modified the very meaning of words.
Noi siamo qui is a collective account that for five days gathered eighteen high-school students from the Istituto Superiore “R. Battaglia” to talk about memory, identity and change, giving voice to a group of adolescents who from one day to the next lost their homes, their schools and their certainties. Guiding the work of the students were director and screenwriter Michele Rho, film-maker Giuseppe Petruzzellis and sound-designer Andrea Basti.
