After a long time, Sandra finally finds the courage to escape with her two daughters from her violent husband. Fighting against a society that seems unable to protect her, and with the intent to create a warm environment for the girls, she decides to build a house with her own hands, just for them. During the undertaking, she will find the strength to rebuild her life and will discover herself, thanks to the support of a group of people willing to help her.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
I first met Clare Dunne while I was searching for actors for Julius Caesar, at the beginning of my all-female Shakespeare project. Clare came for the role of Portia. I will never forget her audition: it was incredible to see an actress who is completely herself, who bridges the gap between herself and her character. I accepted the offer to direct the film on the condition that she would play the role of Sandra.
