The opening of the 11th Rome Film Fest also signals the opening of the Cinema Village, located in front of the Auditorium and designed to offer the Fest audience information and services.
Caffè Corsini, the official café of the Rome Film Fest, which is managed by Patrick Hoffer and markets its products in over 60 countries around the world, is the place to sip coffee, drinks and cocktails. At Foodopolis, a temporary food corner dedicated to the pleasures of the palate and to gourmet intelligence, visitors are invited to experience the encounter of the Roman and Apulian culinary traditions. A special guest and the indisputable front man of Italian food identity, Paolo Parisi will be there to present his own cuisine, with special guests who will help him to interpret a melting-pot of food cultures. Conceived and organized by Noao, in collaboration with Barba&Capelli, under Parisi’s guidance Foodopolis becomes an ideal city, characterized by its Apulian soul and its Roman character, and featuring the finest of products at the heart of the Roman tradition.
Food is also the centre of the Rome Film Fest’s decision to stand by Cesvi to fight hunger in the world. From October 13th to 23rd, the volunteers from Cesvi will talk to the guests of the Fest about ‘Food Right Now’, the campaign to raise awareness about the right to food. Visitors will have the opportunity to become protagonists in the battle against hunger by taking a picture in front of the Cesvi wall to post on social networks and by sharing a special message, I feel your hunger, temporarily tattooed on their skin.
Finally, Mazda, participating in the Rome Film Fest for the fourth time as a key player, has not only provided over 50 automobiles to chauffeur the personalities in the star system, as well as the spaces of the Mazda Lounge and the impressive Mazda Cinema Hall, it will also be present at the heart of the Village with a stand that welcomes directors and actors for guest appearances and interviews. It will also feature an interactive visual exhibition to explore the “Drive Together” philosophy.
RAI returns to report on all the news of the 11th Rome Film Fest. RaiNews24 will provide live coverage of the event with on-the-scene reports and interviews. Rai Movie will report on the events of the day in its Roma Daily feature and in a special broadcast of Movie Mag from the spaces of the Fest on October 19th.
Rai Radio2, the official radio of the Rome Film Fest, will be “on the air” from the Auditorium Parco della Musica with the voices of Giovanni Veronesi and Max Cervelli and their programme “Non è un paese per giovani”. Saturday October 22nd, Lillo, Greg and Alex Braga will be on the air with a special edition of ‘610’. Rai Radio3 will also be broadcasting live from the Auditorium every day with the Hollywood Party show.
The Village will also provide an Info Point and Ticket Office, as well as a BNL cash machine and many other spaces in which the partners of the Fest will welcome visitors for promotional activities.
