Costa Crociere: movies onboard, exhibitions and clay

Thanks to the collaboration with Alice nella Città and the Association B5, the RomeFilmFest set sails on October the 15th and 16th. A four-week long workshop on stop-motion animation with characters made of clay has resulted on a short movie called “Un viaggio a sorpresa” (A surprise trip). Two events will be held on the Costa Concordia cruise, the screenings of Paolo Virzì´s N (Io e Napoleone) and Cristiano Bortone´s Rosso come il cielo. Golden Marco Aurelio for Connery on October 12th at the Teatro dell’Opera

The special Golden Marco Aurelio Award will be handed out to the Scottish actor Sean Connery on Thursday October the 12th at Rome´s Teatro dell´Opera. The awarding will take place before the music concert that will open the first edition of the RomeFilmFest. The set list of the concert, featuring the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini directed by Riccardo Muti, will be based on the renowned composer Nino Rota´s scores for films, such as The Godfather, The Road or The Leopard.
