The Board of Founders has accepted the resignation of President Piera Detassis

The Board of Founders of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma – which consist of Roma Capitale, the Lazio Region, the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, the Istituto Luce Cinecittà (representing the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism) and the Fondazione Musica per Roma – has received and accepted the resignation handed in by President Piera Detassis. 
The Board of Founders, the Board of Directors and the Board of Auditors greet the outgoing President Piera Detassis and express their high regard, thanking her for the crucial role she has played in the growth and success of the Foundation, through the CityFest project, and the Rome Film Fest, for which she has been one of the main protagonists since its birth in 2006, first as a member of the Artistic Direction, then as the Artistic Director of the Rome Film Fest  -up to 2011- and finally as the President of the Foundation from 2015 to 2018.
In the same meeting, the balanced budget achieved in 2017 – annual balance-sheet – was approved. The Board complimented the outgoing President for the excellent results.
The Board of Directors have formally entrusted Laura Delli Colli with leading the Foundation. The journalist is the current Vice President of the Foundation and she has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2015.
