The first edition of the “World Forum on Strategy and Finance for Cinema” will be held on October 17th (from 9am to 6pm) at the Horti Sallustiani in Piazza Sallustio 2 as part of the RomeFilmFest´s Business Street. It is a prestigious appointment for all agents involved in the international network of cinema financing (production companies, broadcasting networks, studios, distribution companies, national agencies, local institutes, investing organisms)

The European movie industry has not become an actual market yet, despite the gradually growing efforts made by the countries and the local institutions. The demand of creating new balances able to attract new investors to this ‘atypical market’ is getting stronger, hence allowing producers to combine productivity, creativity and profit. Upon this prospective, the “World Forum on Strategy and Finance for Cinema” is an occasion for meeting as well as for strategic reflection and aims to face topics such as public financing of film production, the prospective for new investors and the possible strategies for a new European global market.
