Just like in 2006, the Rome Film Festival (Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma) will move to the suburbs, thereby confirming its popular vocation: tomorrow November 12th, the actor, director, screenwriter and producer Sylvester Stallone, the “father” of Rocky and Rambo, will meet the public at 6 pm at the “Tor Bella Monaca” Theatre, the same venue that hosted Leonardo Di Caprio during the first edition of the Festival. During the discussion with the audience that will be moderated by Giona Nazzaro, in the presence of the Mayor Gianni Alemanno and the Councillor for Cultural Policies and the Historic City Centre Dino Gasperini, the Italian-American Hollywood star will talk about his career, from the early hardships to the films that made him immortal to his most recent successes. Admission is free, upon presentation of a coupon that may be collected at the Theatre’s box office from 11 am to 4 pm.
Before the meeting, Sylvester Stallone will be at the Campidoglio, where he will receive the Lupa Capitolina Award from Mayor Alemanno. On November 14th the American actor will walk the red carpet of the Festival to present the new film he is starring in, Bullet to the Head by Walter Hill.
Filming or taking photographs is not permitted during both events.
