The Corviale arena is realised by Zètema Progetto Cultura and Fondazione Cinema per Roma and promoted by Roma Capitale as part of the new ‘Viva il cinema’ initiative that will bring the seventh art to the city’s suburbs, with three different open-air cinemas for a total of forty-four free screenings. From 4th to 18th July, a space will be set up in Tor Bella Monaca, in via Giovanni Castano (VI Municipio), while a third will be active in the Santa Maria della Pietà area (XIV Municipio) from 20 July to 3 August. The project funded by the European Union Next Generation EU as part of the National Plan for Resilience and Recovery (PNRR) is one of the Intangible Interventions included in the planning programme titled Piani Urbani Integrati M5C2-Investimento 2.2, designated for the suburbs of Metropolitan Cities.
