Roma Cinema Arena 2024

From 4th to 25th July 2024, the Fondazione Cinema per Roma will hold the third edition of Roma Cinema Arena, the large 1000-seat outdoor movie theatre located in one of the most suggestive locations in the city, Parco degli Acquedotti (VII Municipio, Appio Claudio district). The programme will feature a total of 22 screenings to be held every night, with free admission, starting at 9:15 pm, and introduced by directors, actors, critics and artists.

THE PROGRAMME

Roma Cinema Arena is produced by the Fondazione Cinema per Roma, and is curated by Gian Luca Farinelli, president of the Fondazione, and Paola Malanga, the artistic director, in agreement with Francesca Via, General Manager. The film series is promoted by Roma Capitale (Councillorship for Culture of Roma Capitale, with the coordination of the Department of Cultural Activities), Regione Lazio, Cinecittà, the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and the Fondazione Musica per Roma. The institutional partner is the Direzione Generale Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture. Roma Cinema Arena is held in collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna and Titanus. The event is part of the Estate Romana 2024 programme.
