The Rome Film Fest blows out a virtual hundred candles on Gregory Peck’s birthday cake and celebrates his career with the quintessential romantic comedy, ageless and timeless: Roman Holiday. The screening will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, October 18th at 8:30 p.m. (free admission) in one of the most spectacular locations in the world: the Spanish Steps. The event is promoted by the Peck family and Crescentera Productions, under the aegis of the United States Embassy in Rome and the American Academy in Rome, in collaboration with the associations Via Condotti and Piazza di Spagna, along with Confcommercio Centro Storico and Gruppo Martini6 SPA.
Up and down Via Condotti, for the duration of the Rome Film Fest, fashion will be wedded to the seventh art, with the glamorous shop windows dressed for cinema, thanks to the Associazione Via Condotti.
The tribute to Gregory Peck, on Wednesday, October 19th (at 6:30 p.m., the Casa del Cinema, free admission) will include a screening of the documentary A Conversation With Gregory Peck by Barbara Kopple and a conversation with Cecilia Peck Voll and Anthony Peck. The event is promoted by the Peck family and Crescentera Productions.
