The Teatro Palladium, a historic Roman movie theatre currently owned by the Università Roma Tre, starting today Saturday October 19th and through Sunday October 27th, will host a series of screenings from the programme of the fourteenth Rome Film Fest. This initiative has been made possible by the cooperation agreement between the Fondazione Roma Tre Teatro Palladium and Fondazione Cinema per Roma, with the purpose of promoting and advancing the film content produced by the Fest and to extend the enjoyment of these films to an audience of university students in particular. The Fondazione Roma Tre Teatro Palladium, which manages the Palladium, pursues goals of education and artistic production in the fields of theatre, cinema, music and dance, with special attention to the initiatives developed by younger talents. The screenings – every day at 8:30 pm except Wednesday October 23rd – have been selected from the line-ups of the Riflessi, Tributes and Other Events sections of the Rome Film Fest: auteurs and critics will be at the theatre for a conversation with the audience. On Thursday October 24th, Ludwig by Luchino Visconti will be introduced by the French director, screenwriter and film critic Olivier Assayas.
