ACCREDITATIONS

Who can request accreditation to the Rome Film Fest?

The Print/Media accreditation is reserved exclusively for professionals of the printed and online press, multimedia, radio, television, press agencies, press offices and photographers.

The Fest accreditation is reserved for professionals in the audio-visual field, University students and associations and organizations dedicated to the film culture.

What does the accreditation allow?

Accreditation provides admission to the Fest screenings in accordance with terms established by the Fest management (subject to availability). The accreditation also allows access to the digital platform of the Fondazione Cinema per Roma, where a selection of the Fest films will be present.

How can I apply for accreditation?

The Rome Film Fest reserves the right for students and professionals in the field of cinema to apply for accreditation for their specific activities. For accreditation, please follow the instructions for applying online at the following link:  Accredition

What is the deadline for requesting accreditation?

Applications for accreditation may be submitted through October 5th, 2024, while accreditations last. Please fill out and submit the online application form.

What is the age limit for applying for accreditation?

Accreditation is reserved for ages 18 and over.

Can I apply for more than one type of accreditation?

No, each person may apply for only one personal and non-transferable accreditation, for a single type of activity.

How long is the accreditation valid for?

Every type of accreditation is valid for the entire duration of the Rome Film Fest, from October 16 to 27, 2024.

Are there discounts for students?

Students of universities or academies in the field of cinema studies are granted a cultural accreditation at the discounted price of 40 euro, upon submission of the required documentation. Students from other departments and fields of study may apply for cultural accreditation at the discounted rate of 55 euro.

Are there any organizations with concession prices?

Accreditations may be obtained at a discount price by members of film culture circuits, such as ANCCI, CGS, CINIT, CSC, FEDIC, FIC, FICC, UCCA. For further information on organizations with agreements for special terms, check the website at the Concessions page. 

What payment methods are allowed?

Once confirmed, the accreditation must be paid for exclusively online by credit card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard).

Are accreditations refundable?

Refunds will be granted only if the event is cancelled, as per art. 7, par.B, Legislative Decree 22 May 1999, N°185.

When can I collect my accreditation badge?

Accreditations may be collected at the Accreditation Desk of the Rome Film Fest (Auditorium – Parco della Musica – Viale P. de Coubertin – Rome) from October 14  2024, during the hours specified by the accreditation office during the confirmation process. You must display the e-mail confirming acceptance of your accreditation in order to collect the accreditation badge.

Can I delegate someone else to collect my accreditation badge?

Yes, you can. The accreditation may be collected by a third party who must present a written authorization, a photocopy of their own ID and a photocopy of the ID of the person authorizing collection of the accreditation. 

What happens if I lose my accreditation badge?

If you lose your accreditation badge, please notify the Rome Film Fest organization in writing immediately at the following email address: accreditation@romacinemafest.org. Upon receipt of this report, after 24 hours, a new accreditation badge may be issued at the cost of 5 euro. The lost accreditation badge will be disactivated immediately. Any subsequent accreditation badge after the first request for a duplicate badge will be charged at full price.

RULES AND REGULATIONS - SUBMITTING A FILM

What is the deadline for submitting my film?

The film files (min. MPEG 2 – 720×576 4Mbp/s) may be uploaded on the Starbase platform, on or before Thursday August 4th 2022 at 8pm. Read Rules and Regulations.

Until July 14th the registration fee is in the amount of:
– 60 euros: for films registered by uploading the video file using the Starbase platform, or for those who choose to specify a link to an independent platform on the preselection form;
– 80 euros: for films registered by shipping a DCP, DVD or Blu-Ray Disc.

From July 15th to August 4th (before 8pm)
– 70 euros: for films registered by uploading the video file using the Starbase platform, or for those who choose to specify a link to an independent platform on the preselection form;
– 90 euros: for films registered by shipping a DCP, DVD or Blu-Ray Disc.

PROGRAMME

When will the programme of the Rome Film Fest be available?

The complete programme of the Rome Film Fest will be announced at the press conference in September. The line-up, complete with dates and times, will be released about one week before the beginning of the Fest on all the Fest’s communication channels.

Are the films subtitled?


All the films at the Fest are in the original language version, with subtitles in Italian and/or English.

When will the appearances of the talents on the red carpet be announced?

The red carpets are announced daily during the ten days of the Fest.

How can I buy tickets for the Rome Film Fest?

Advance sales for tickets will start about a week before the Fest begins. Tickets may be purchased online at BOXOL.

The Auditorium Parco della Musica may easily be reached by public transportation and is served by two parking garages in the vicinity.

Highway A1: direction Roma Nord at Km 15 – G.R.A. exit Flaminia Saxa Rubra, direction Corso di Francia or Lungotevere Flaminio/Viale Tiziano, upon reaching Palazzetto dello Sport.

Parking: in the area near the Auditorium Parco della Musica, ATAC S.p.A. manages two parking garages (with entrance on Viale Maresciallo Pilsudski) and one parking lot (with entrance from Viale Pietro De Coubertin) for a total of 1.005 parking spots, including 26 reserved for the disabled.
