From October 16th to 27th, Casa del Cinema will be one of the central venues of the nineteenth Rome Film Fest, hosting much of the programme in the History of Cinema section, curated by Gian Luca Farinelli, director of the Cineteca di Bologna, and dedicated to the preview screenings of documentaries that explore the seventh art, the world premieres of film restorations, the tributes and the encounters with the protagonists of the big screen.

Casa del Cinema will host much of the rich programme of the History of Cinema section.
The screenings will be introduced by a host of directors, actors, producers and personalities in the world of culture, including Lamberto Bava, Hind R. Boukli, Carlo Chatrian, Francesca Comencini, Andrea De Sica, Brando De Sica, Steve Della Casa, Laurent Galinon, Jean Gili, Elisabetta Giovagnoni, Marco Giusti, Ciro Ippolito, Guido Lombardo, Gabriele Mainetti, Sandra Marti, Sonia Medina, Giuseppe Rossi, David Teboul, Serge Toubiana, Luca Verdone.
In the Absolute Beginner section, Saverio Costanzo will talk with spectators about his debut in filmmaking with the film Private, Golden Leopard at Locarno.
On the occasion of the exhibit “The Man who Drew Cinema”, the great poster artist Renato Casaro will meet the public of the Fest.
